This the kind of heat that movers like but not necessarily banks, not when higher interest rates lead to increasing foreclosures which in turn drives greater numbers of families from their homes. Usually they lose all that they have invested in these homes, but the movers don't lose because they will always be needed to move people to their new homes, usually in some other city.
So it is definitely a good time for movers and they are not complaining. In fact many movers are considering expanding their operations and buying more trucks that would allow them to operate better as movers during these days of increased home foreclosures and people having to leave their homes.
The movers definitely come in handy at a time like this even though we don't like to see people being uprooted and being forced to find new places to live. Maybe now is the time to consider investing in the moving business or in becoming a mover yourself. There are plenty of movers out there but there is also a growing demand that needs to be met. There will definitely be a need for more movers.
